I am an experienced UKCP-registered psychotherapist and a member of the BACP, abiding by both their codes of practise.
I have been practising since 2000. My private practice is located in central Brixton, one minute's walk from Brixton tube, close to Camberwell, Herne Hill, Streatham and Clapham.
My training was at the Minster Centre in London, where I received a post graduate diploma in Integrative Psychotherapy and Counselling and, later, a diploma in Integrative Supervision. My theoretical orientation is Integrative, drawing upon psychodynamic, humanistic/existential and cognitive approaches.
I offer both long and short-term work. I also offer assessments.
I am a qualified supervisor and offer clinical supervision to psychotherapists and counsellors in private practice, as well as trainees on placements.
I am trained in group facilitation and currently facilitate psychotherapy training groups at The Minster Centre. I have also co-facilitated therapeutic groups for patients with Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) at at Homerton Hospital.
I have set up and run a counselling service for parents at a local school and children’s centre.
I have regular supervision and pursue ongoing professional and personal development.
Previously my career was in the arts. I have a degree in sculpture/3-dimensional design from Middlesex University and have some experience of working within the arts.
